The School of Education honored Jess Wenger of Enterprise Infrastructure Services with the Arvid J. Burke Scholarship. The award, established in honor of the former Educational Administration and Policy Studies professor, is given to advanced degree students who demonstrate outstanding academic potential.
Upon successfully completing a 5-hour, 180 question proctored exam, Dan Forgett (Information Security) earned his Global Information Assurance Certificate in Security Essentials. This is a significant milestone in Dan's professional development.
Enrollment Management (EM) hosts an annual staff recognition program to highlight employees who have demonstrated outstanding service. This year, ITS's very own Joe Maloney of Client Support Services was recognized with the first-ever Friend of Enrollment Management Award. Joe was selected by past EM awardees for his excellent service and can-do attitude.
Information Security Officer Marty Manjak was recently elected to the REN-ISAC Board. The Research and Education Networking Information Sharing and Analysis Center's (REN-ISAC) mission is to aid and promote cybersecurity within research and higher education.
Lync Rebranded as Skype for Business
Our Lync communication and collaboration service is being rebranded as Skype for Business. You may see references to both names in the coming weeks until the upgrade is complete.
