Fall Semester, 2014
Viticulture and Enology Classes offered by Kent State University - Ashtabula:
Kent State University Ashtabula offers a special tuition rate of $175 per credit hour for viticulture and enology classes (VIN) taught by Kent State faculty as part of the VESTA program alliance. Some classes may have additional fees so please consult the official KSU course catalog for any additional course specific fees.
Online viticulture and enology classes (VIN) taught by Kent State faculty as part of the VESTA program alliance are also subject to a $12.00 per credit hour distance learning fee.
All other Kent State University Ashtabula classes:
The regular lower division in-state Kent State University Ashtabula Spring semester tuition rate of $258 per credit hour applies to all other classes taken by students in fulfillment of the requirements for the degree programs in viticulture and enology. The lower division tuition rate of $620 per credit hour applies to non-Ohio residents, except for certain Pennsylvania and West Virginia residents (contact KSU for details on neighboring state residency requirements). If a student chooses to take non-VIN courses in an online format, there is a general $84 fee for classes offered online by Kent State University.
Total Viticulture/Enology Associate of Applied Science Degree Costs:
Total costs for obtaining a degree in viticulture and enology will depend on a student's post-secondary education background. However, at published Spring 2012 tuition rates, a new high school graduate entering the KSU/VESTA two year viticulture or enology AAS degree program can expect a total program cost of approximately $14,100 -$14,650.
Viticulture and Enology Classes offered by VESTA Partner Institutions:
Costs and fees for viticulture and enology classes taken from a VESTA partner institution are determined by the teaching institution; consult the VESTA partner site for current tuition information. Please note that classes taken from partner institutions will be invoiced to the student directly by the teaching institution, not Kent State University.
