If your tuition has not been received by the deadline, your schedule could be cancelled.
If you are not receiving Financial Aid or do not have enough aid to cover tuition, the Central Office accepts cash, money orders, personal checks, MasterCard, Visa and Discover (NOVUS) card for payment of any fees. For your convenience, the Bursar's Office will accept credit card payments via the Kent State University information Processing System. Call (330) 672-2378 and follow the instructions in the bursar's directory. The following payment options are available.
1. Single Payment. This is the most direct, easiest and least expensive option; no service charges are assessed.
2. IP (Installment Payment Plan). This plan is designed to spread registration and room and food payments over a three-month period according to the dates outlined below. A service charge of $20 per semester for registration fees is assessed for the Installment Payment Plan through Kent State University. Enrollment in the Installment Payment Plan ends January 16.
Students who fail to make their second and/or third payments by the required dates will be assessed a $30 late fee. Students failing to make their scheduled payments also will be subject to deregistration from their classes by the university if fees are not paid.
