My name is Daniel Mauer.
I am on leave from the PhD program at the
College of Computer and Information Science at
Northeastern University.
I was, of late, a research assistant in the
Relational Agents Group under
Prof. Tim Bickmore.
I am currently a Senior Software Systems Engineer at
The MITRE Corporation in Bedford, MA.
I like computers.
Specifically I am interested in AI and machine learning, natural language processing, and robotics.
Here are some various
projects I have worked on over the years.

iPhone Software. Buy some! I am also interested in music, politics, travel, baseball, food, and some other things.
I have been accused of playing the guitar.
I have also been accused of having nine fingers on my left hand.
One of these two accusations is baseless.
I have a lovely wife, and we live in Boston.
We recently went on a long road trip, and she chronicled the experience
