Bio

I am a graduate student in the college of Computer and Information Science at Northeastern University. I am interested in the working of Software and how various computer components collaborate and interact in perfect harmony to produce functional systems. Beauty without brains is as useless as brains without beauty. A software product must be beautiful in its appearence and intuitive to use, apart from being well designed and robust. Designing and developing software which combines a good "look and feel" with good design is my main area of interest.

the first computer i ever used was in in 1999. It was a Toshiba T-1200 and it started my love affair with these beautiful machines. My current computer is a HP Pavilion dv6449us dual-booting Fedora 9 and Vista. Outside academics, I enjoy trekking, watching movies and playing the guitar. A voracious reader, I read a lot of books and write poetry when I feel poetic. I am the webmaster for Sanskriti, the Indian Graduate Students Association at Northeastern.
