Clemson University's Redfern Health Center is one of 23 student health centers in the U.S. accredited by The Joint Commission. With a staff of over 60 dedicated health-care professionals, Redfern offers services from flu shots to psychological evaluations. Redfern is located on-campus and features a pharmacy, women's clinic, a nurse's clinic, immunization clinic, primary care, radiology and a clinical laboratory. Veterans and children of veterans have benefited over the years from talking with mental health professionals. The Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Program is available for all students of Clemson. This program offers a full range of psychological services that include individual, couples and group counseling. Issues include but are not limited to PTSD, relationship issues, adjustment issues, moral and political dilemmas and substance use/abuse. The CAPS team also offers on a limited basis learning disability (LD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivty Disorder (ADHD) testing on a fee basis. There is also a psychiatrist students may see.
