Mission Statement

The mission of Institutional Research and Effectiveness is to support the college mission by coordinating strategic planning and assessment functions among college clientele. The unit is responsible for a variety of internal and external reports and assists other college units in assessing effectiveness through collection, analysis, and distribution of data and information.

Responsibilities

The Institutional Research and Effectiveness department is responsible for external reporting, survey responses, maintenance of administrative databases including student enrollment, graduate inventory, academic program inventory, and responses to internal and external requests for college data. The unit is also responsible for maintaining Performance Funding processes, strategic planning reports, and the Fact Book. Accreditation liaison duties are housed within the office. Staff may be contacted for any related college information including enrollment trends and patterns, demographic data, or other measures of college activity.
