CMU Highlights
We are proud of our many accomplishments at Central Michigan University. The following are just a few of the highlights of this year's achievements by students, faculty and staff.
- Wrestling team has won 12 of the last 13 MAC championships and 10 straight MAC Tournament titles
- The Michigan Music Educator Association''s 2007 Music Educator of the Year Award was given to Dr. Daniel Steele, associate professor of music education and graduate coordinator for the School of Music.
- In 2009, CMU''s physician assistant class posted the best score in the nation on the first-year standardized Physician Assistant Clinical Knowledge Rating Assessment Tool Exam, scoring 17 percent higher than the national average.
- CMU''s recreation, parks and leisure services administration program is the largest undergraduate leisure studies program in the nation, with 458 signed majors.
