Rebecca Everett, Parent-Indian River County
Darlene Foster, Parent-Palm Beach County
Veronica Pappas, Parent-Palm -Beach County
These parents accompanied the CARD director, Maryellen Quinn-Lunny to Tallahassee on January 12, 2012 to meet with Senator Alexander's Assistant, Senator Negron, Assistant, Representative Schenk and Representative Hager. Each of the parents developed a flyer highlighting their child and describing how FAU CARD helped them. These parents did a phenomenal job and contributed to the current outcome of no further budget cuts to CARD for the 2012 Fiscal year.
