Exceptional Student Education

Scholarship Name Eligibility Requirements
John E. Miklos Exceptional Scholarship Endowment Undergraduate and Graduate students in the area of exceptional student education or developmental disabilities.
Toppel Family Early Childhood Doctoral Scholarship Endowment Doctoral students with specific early childhood research.
Julie Jackson Scholarship Endowment Fund Doctoral students who are interested in pursuing a degree with a focus on residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Must submit evidence focus on residential services.
Virginia and Douglas Stewart Excellence in Teaching Scholarship Undergraduate or Graduate students majoring in Elementary or Exceptional Student Education and participating in their student teaching semester. Undergraduate or Graduate students must be enrolled in Student Teaching during Fall 2011 or Spring 2012 semester and have earned a 3.0 GPA in education coursework.

* A current FAFSA must be on file with the Financial Aid office and must show unmet need for the academic year for scholarships requiring financial need. Please DO NOT submit financial documentation with your College of Education scholarship packet.
