Physical Therapist Assistant Technology

The Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant Technology gives you the skills to help people recover from illness and injury. As a physical therapist assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to implement treatment programs according to each patient's individualized plan of care.

An associate degree is earned with successful completion of 66 semester hours of coursework. Graduates of the PTA Program are eligible to apply for licensure and take the Licensure Exam for physical therapist assistants. Admission to the program is limited and selective. It is important that students considering a career as a physical therapist assistant meet with the program director to discuss program expectations and admission requirements.
