Athletic Trainer
The Athletic Trainer program at Cowley has a good tradition of providing excellent care to student athletes while at the same time serving the educational needs of student trainers.
Activity Highlights: The student trainers work closely with a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) who is a member to the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA). They learn various ways of preventing injuries and several different methods of taping and wrapping injuries. The students are also taught how to evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries. In addition to the practical knowledge and experience gained at Cowley, the students learn important skills in their required courses.
Financial Assistance: Many financial aid opportunities are available to those who qualify. Students are encouraged to apply for grants and loans through the government financial aid program based on their specific needs. Students should contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.
