Drama - Theatre
An important part of the theatre program is the Act One drama club. The club began in 1988 and offers additional opportunity for campus involvement and for students to perform. Act One members are involved with two major productions - a play and an operetta or musical - each year. The club also sponsors Puttin' on the Hits - a lip sync contest, and Mr. Cinderfella. Club members can develop one-and two-person acts to perform for clubs and civic organizations.
Financial Assistance: A number of drama grants-in-aid are offered yearly. These grants pay for books and tuition and require students to participate in Act One and some phases of the productions.
