Online CollegeLearn how to use ANGEL
Cowley students are required to complete the eLearning Orientation course before having access to online, web enhanced and hybrid courses in the ANGEL System.
What Is the eLearning Orientation?
A course delivered in the ANGEL Learning Management System that will prepare students for successful online learning and navigation in ANGEL.
Who Should Complete the Online Student Orientation?
All students enrolled in fully online and hybrid courses will be required to successfully complete the eLearning Orientation before being able to access their courses in ANGEL. The eLearning Orientation is designed for quick completion—usually in less than an hour.
How Does the Online Orientation Work?
After logging into the ANGEL portal, students will see the eLearning Orientation shown as a course in which they are enrolled. The course completion process is initiated by clicking the link and beginning to work through the material located on the Lessons tab. Progress in the course will be determined by successfully scoring an 80% or better on each lesson’s assessment. A score of 80% or higher in the final assessment (Lesson 7) will allow students to access their courses on or after the course start date.
Do I Have to Take the Orientation Every Semester?
No. Students who have completed the orientation once will not have to take it again for three years.
