Lady Tigers “Tiger Strong” Summer Softball Clinic to take place June 6-7

The national champion Lady Tiger volleyball team will host a pair of summer volleyball camps and will prepare to open their season at the Johnson County Tournament on Aug. 24-25. Cowley will take on Pratt in its first home match on Aug. 28.
Cowley College offering vault camp/speed development camp
Fresh off leading the Cowley College men and women’s track and field teams to a trip to the NJCAA National Outdoor Championships, the Tiger coaching staff is preparing to conduct a vault camp/speed development camp for middle school and high school-aged students in June at the Tiger Track and Field Complex.
The vault camp will take place June 4-6 at the Tiger Track and Field facility, located at 230 Pierce St., just East of the Cowley baseball stadium.
The speed development camp will be held June 11-14, also at the Tiger Track and Field facility. read more

With freshman Manuel Raga finishing as the national runner-up at No. 4 singles, the Cowley College tennis team finished in sixth place at the NJCAA Division I Men’s National Tennis Championship in Plano, Texas.

Summer enrollment for classes in the Golden Tigers at Cowley College is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 29 in the Webb-Brown Academic Center, Room 203, on the Arkansas City campus.

Cowley softball finishes fourth at national tournament

One out away from moving on in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament, the No. 5-seed Cowley College softball team could not close out its game against Parkland as the sixth seeded Cobras got a two-run single from Kelsey Kniepmann with two outs in the top of the seventh inning and went on to a 3-1 win.
By placing fourth at the national tournament, Cowley matches the highest finish in the history of the program. read more
