Board approves refunding of certificates for the track facility
Members of Cowley College’s Board of Trustees approved the resolution of the refunding of certificates for the college’s track facility during a special meeting of the Board held Thursday in the college’s Hall of Fame Room located inside W.S. Scott Auditorium.
By approving the resolution of the refunding of certificates for its track facility, Cowley College will save $28,835 out of next year’s budget.
John Haas, Ranson Financial Consultants, L.L.C., reviewed and considered bids and determined that the bid of Bank of America, N.A., was the best bid for the certificates. Bank of America, N.A., locked in a rate of 3.05 percent.
Citizens Bank of Kansas and Union State Bank of Arkansas City also submitted bids.
