Cowley College Mulvane Center offering certified Wedding Planner course
Cowley College in conjunction with The Wedding Planning Institute, a division of Lovegevity, Inc., will be offering a Wedding Planner Certification class this spring.
Students will gain experience and practice with application and utilization of business tools, formulas, and presentation methods in the day-to-day activities of wedding planning and understand the role of a professional wedding planner. Course objectives include: Gaining a basic knowledge of the wedding industry; create business contracts, pricing, packages and presentation tools; understand the event planning process necessary to design and deliver a successful wedding/social event; and understand the six stages of event experiences and ways to implement them.
The 11-week course will be held at the Cowley College Mulvane Center on Saturday mornings beginning January 28 between 9-11:45 a.m. The Wedding Planning Institute, which is located in Roseville, CA, will provide the certificates of completion at the end of the course. Students will receive two-credit hours of course work through Cowley College.
