International Agreements
The University of South Florida and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering have signed collaboration agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) at the undergraduate and graduate level with several universities around the world. These agreements are meant to foster collaboration and exchange of students between USF and the following institutions:
1. Universidad del Norte, Barranquilla, Colombia

Universidad del Norte, an ABET-accredited school, is a premier private university in Colombia. Our agreement fosters the transfer of Uninorte Computer Science majors to USF for completion of senior year courses, earning a USF Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
The University of South Florida and Uninorte also have a general undergraduate exchange agreement signed, which allows USF and Uninorte students to study up to two semesters in the partner institution paying tuition in their home institution. Click here.
2. Universidad de Oviedo, Oviedo, Asturias, Spain

Universidad de Oviedo celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2008 and is the foremost public university in the Principality of Asturias. Located in the capital city of Oviedo., Universidad de Oviedo and USF seek to promote international cooperation by stimulating and supporting intercultural activities and projects between universities. The universities have developed agreements for students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Students completing 12 credit hours in the Master of Web Engineering program at Universidad de Oviedo may complete their remaining 18 credits at the University of South Florida earning the Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) degree.
This area located in the south of Oviedo, is the University School of Technical Engineering in Computer Technology (Edificio Valdés Salas), the Student Halls of Residence and sport facilities.
Master of Science in Computer Science
Another program provides for the exchange of three undergraduate or graduate students per year between universities. Students pay tuition at their home university, therefore tuition is waived at the host institution. Students may choose to live at an on campus resident hall or procure accommodations in the local community.
3. Universidad de Navarra, SpainBoth schools desire to develop collaborative educational and research opportunities for students and faculty. Faculty and researchers in various disciplines are encouraged to develop contacts and propose collaborative projects under this agreement.
