Methods for Managing Specific Laboratory Wastes

Many types of laboratory waste require very specific management techniques in order to properly accumulate and dispose of the waste. This section of UF’s Chemical and Radioactive Waste Disposal website is designed to provide lab workers with the rules and suggested management methods for these particular waste items. All of these UF policies have been developed to ensure compliance with all State and Federal Regulations while still making the job of waste management as easy as possible for everyone on campus.

If you are ever unsure of how to manage a particular waste stream being generated in your lab, contact CRWD personnel at 392-8400.
