According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities for individuals holding a bachelor's degree in the field of criminal justice are forecasted to rise between nine and 19 percent between 2008 and 2018. Be prepared for those opportunities by earning a bachelor's degree in justice studies. Not only will you be qualified for jobs in the justice system, you'll be more likely to advance your career and increase your earning potential over time.

A Unique Bachelor's Degree Completion Program

Through an agreement between Kent State University  and Eastern Gateway Community College, students can now complete both an associate degree and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice at Eastern Gateway's Jefferson County Campus in Steubenville, Ohio. The associate degree is granted by Eastern Gateway Community College, and the Bachelor of Arts in justice studies is awarded by Kent State University.

Making It Easier for You

Once you finish your associate degree, you can continue on to a bachelor's degree without missing a beat.

  • Kent State University professors teach the bachelor's degree courses at the Jefferson County Campus of Eastern Gateway Community College, the location you're already familiar with.
  • Special tuition discounts are available for residents in selected counties in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
