Change of Major Request

If you have not received an admissions decision, you may submit your request by e-mail at admissions@fau.edu. Once we receive this change request, it will be processed. We cannot take this request by phone. It needs to be in writing directly from the student.

All, newly admitted or currently enrolled freshman students, will need to contact Freshman Advising in order to do a change of major.

Transfer (students with fewer than 30 credit hours): All transfer students with fewer than 30 college credit hours are advised through the Office of Freshman Academic Services.
