FAU Broward Campuses

Since Florida Atlantic University was first designated in 1989 as the lead state university serving Broward County, FAU's Broward campuses have grown dramatically in both size and population. FAU now serves more than 6,000 students on three Broward County campuses: Dania Beach, Davie and Fort Lauderdale.

Dania Beach's SeaTech campus is an ocean engineering research center for University partnerships with industry and government that focus on physical oceanography, ocean energy, marine technology and other areas.

On the 38-acre Davie campus, students pursue degree programs in partnership with Broward Community College in the Colleges of Architecture, Urban and Public Affairs, Arts and Letters, Business, Education, Engineering, Nursing and Science.

The Davie campus is also the University's headquarters for expanding environmental research initiatives focused on Everglades restoration.

FAU's Fort Lauderdale campus has evolved into a unique center for creative and urban-focused academic programs, such as architecture, computer animation, graphic design and public administration.

The Fort Lauderdale campus is the home of the College for Design and Social Inquiry. Florida Atlantic University is a strong partner to businesses and organizations serving Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Join us as we continue to evolve in service to South Florida.

A truly engaged university is one that builds a two-way street between the campus and the community. FAU Broward campuses are committed to connecting local business, government and nonprofits to the faculty, staff and students.
