Career Day Policies
The Florida Atlantic University Career Development Center offers career days to provide students an opportunity to network with employers and learn about job opportunities. For employers, this is an opportunity to create awareness of their organization and seek potential candidates. Career Day is an event that starts the recruiting season.
Eligibility

Recruiters representing their direct hiring organization may participate in the Career Day events.
Registration Fees
Registration fee for Career Days includes:
- 1 table (6 ft. x 3 ft.), 2 chairs, up to 2 representatives
- Continental breakfast and full buffet luncheon
- Wi-Fi
- Parking
- All displays must fit within the 6 ft. x 3 ft. table area
- OWL CareerLink online listing of your company name, logo, website, and profile
- Use of OWL CareerLink (online job postings, on-campus recruiting interviews schedules, information sessions, interview room reservations)
- Registration for up to 2 additional representatives per table may be purchased for an additional $30 each for a total up to 4 representatives per table, per organization
- For more than 4 representatives at 1 table, an additional table must be purchased for a $100.00 fee. This fee includes 1 additional table and 2 chairs only. Representatives may be added for $30 each (includes cost of parking, continental breakfast and buffet lunch)
- Registration prior to Friday, January 13th, 2012 guarantees inclusion in Career Day Employer Participant Handout
Please note:
Additional charges may also be assessed for extra tables, lunches, electrical access, and/or wireless internet access (where available).
Cancellations, No Shows, & Payment Policies:

All fees and changes are due on or before the pre-registration deadline.

Should you register, pay, and not show for Career Day, your registration fees will not be refunded. Please keep in mind there are other organizations/firms desiring admission to the Career Day -- your no-show may prohibit other organizations from participating. Additionally, should you register for the event and not pre-pay, and then do not show for the event, you will still be responsible for paying the registration fee.

Any outstanding bills from previous Career Days will prevent participation in future Career Development Center sponsored events.

Should you have to cancel your event registration, we will refund your registration fee, if you cancel within 10 business days prior to the event. All cancellations must be received in writing. After that date, refunds will not be offered.

A late registration fee of $50.00 will be applied on registrations received after the pre-registration deadline.

In the event a Career Day must be cancelled or the date re-scheduled, employers/recruiters that have already paid will have the option to receive a full refund or have the registration fee applied to the next scheduled Career Day.

If circumstances warrant, the director reserves the right to extend the final deadline.

If space if available, same day registration may be accommodated.

Recruiters may only identify and recruit candidates for employment and/or their academic programs. Recruiters may not sell their products/services or solicit future purchases of products/services.

Employers must adhere to equal opportunity laws and principles for employment professionals outlined in the the National Association of College & Employers (NACE) Principles for Professional Practice for Career Services & Employment Professionals.

The Career Development Center is not responsible for parking tickets and cannot waive or appeal them.
Right to Refuse:
The Career Development Center maintains the right to refuse right of entry to any student, alumni, recruiter, hiring organization, and/or university.
