Job Listing Procedures

Eligible employers who are interested in hiring FAU students/alumni can advertise or post a position with the Career Development Center.  Employers who post jobs in OWL CareerLink may upon approval, conduct resume searches.

OWL CareerLink Job Listing Instructions:

OWL CareerLink is an online job listing system that enables employers to list full-time, part-time, co-op, and internship opportunities.
The Career Development Center reserves the right to edit, delete, or refuse any job postings [ See Third Party/Staffing Employer Policy and Home Based Businesses Policy]

  • Log-in to an EXISTING account

How do I post a job listing?

  • Enter a user name and password and click "Login."
  • Select "My Jobs" from the menu bar.
  • Click "New Job" on the submenu bar above.
  • Enter all fields that are applicable.
  • Click "Save."
  • Scroll down to "Contact Information."
  • Verify that this is the correct contact for this job. (If not, click "Edit" at the top right corner of that section and make the necessary changes. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.)
  • Scroll down to "Posting Information Record."
  • Select "Edit."
  • Enter all fields that are applicable.
  • Allow online resume referrals click "YES" to received student resume via email.
  • Click "Save."

How do I archive or deactivate a job listing?

  • Enter a user name and password and click "Login."
  • Select "My Jobs" from the menu bar.
  • Find the job you wish to deactivate, click on the blue number on the left (Job ID).
  • Scroll down to "Posting Information Record."
  • Select "Edit" in the upper right corner.
  • Scroll down to "Post End Date."
  • Type in the current date.
  • Click "Save."

How do I reactivate a previously posted job listing?

  • Enter a user name and password and click "Login."
  • Select "My Jobs" from the menu bar.
  • Find the job you wish to repost (can also be edited), click on the blue number on the left (Job ID).
  • Scroll down to "Posting Information Record."
  • Select "Edit" in the upper right corner.
  • Scroll down to "Post End Date."
  • Type in the date you wish the ad to end (must be within 30 days).
  • Click "Save."

How do I change or update contact information for my account?

  • Click on "My Profile."
  • Scroll down to "Contact Information."
  • Click on "Edit" on the right side.
  • Make changes and click "Save."
