Welcome to the Career Development Center! As a parent or family member, you play an integral role in facilitating the career exploration process of your FAU student.
Family support and involvement are essential factors for helping students achieve their academic and career goals. One important step you as a parent or family member can take is to recommend that your student visit us at the Career Development Center where we can advise your son/daughter in choosing a major, learning about careers, finding an internship or Co-op, developing a resume, preparing for job interviews, planning for graduate school, or finding a job. Students should register in OWL Careerlink (career center’s database) early to receive email updates and hot job announcements.
The Career Development Center is a state-of-the art, 5,100 square foot facility located in the Student Support Services Building (SU). We serve as the centralized resource to assist both undergraduate and graduate students with their individual career needs for all FAU majors as they explore majors, careers, employment and graduate/professional schools. Feel free to visit any of our career center locations at the Boca Raton, Broward and Northern campuses.
This is a very exciting time to be attending FAU as we celebrate its 50th anniversary year throughout 2011. We are a high energy team at the Career Development Center and we look forward to helping your student “Explore, Envision and Succeed!”
