The Counseling & Psychological Services, part of the Division of Student affairs invites students to serve on the student-run 2009-2010 Student Advisory Board. We need 5-10 students to give their opinions on the current student perceptions and visibility of the Counseling & Psychological Services across all campuses. In addition, students will provide insight on how to improve the services and visibility of the Counseling & Psychological Services. Student Board members will also help design future programs that would better serve the students of Florida Atlantic University.
What does this mean? Becoming a board member means that you will attend a weekly meeting to discuss issues pertaining to the quality of services and programming. It is a great opportunity to improve ones leadership skills and competency in interpersonal communication. Also, it is a great learning opportunity for those interested in Administration, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology and more. It is also something that students can potentially add to their resumes. Above all, it is an opportunity to contribute to the betterment of Florida Atlantic University.
