Learn About MSDS’s

Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are a valuable source of safety information, but at times they may be quite confusing. In order to get the most out of an MSDS, it is helpful to understand the many terms that you may find in an MSDS.

By clicking on the link below, you will be taken to an MSDS for "Acetone." Acetone is a common solvent used in chemical laboratories and is often the active ingredient in nail-polish removers. Explore this MSDS and the explanations of its terms and you will have a better understanding of the information presented in any MSDS.
