This page describes the department of Physical Plant's Maintenance services.

Introduction

The Maintenance operation is responsible for all preventive maintenance and repairs of all buildings and appurtenances on campus, with the exception of housing facilities. Preventative maintenance building tours are an important part of this operation by having staff inspect buildings on a monthly basis to assure that all building components are properly functioning. For all maintenance (and custodial) activities, the campus staff may initiate work orders through the work order system.  Work Orders can be submitted  On Line , Email, or by phone (7-2240).   In this manner, all work requests can get recorded and assigned to the appropriate staff.

Maintenance activities also include servicing of the pool, fire alarms, pest control, campus lighting, emergency blue light phones and elevators.
