Athletics
FAU has 18 varsity men's and women's sports teams that compete at the highest level in NCAA Division I athletics, which promises an exciting and active year for sports fans.  Athletics compete in the Sun Belt Conference and Mid-American Conference throughout the calendar season. The cheer and dance teams, who compete nationally each year, help to complete the department comprised of more than 500 student-athletes. The athletic department is located in the Tom Oxley Athletic Center at 777 Glades Road on the Boca Raton campus.

To be successful on the playing field, you need a leader with vision. You need goal-minded individuals to carry out the mission and you need those with talent willing to come together as one to accomplish that mission.
