Dear Student,
The staff of the Department of Housing and Residential Life is excited that you may be joining us in the near future. Living on campus is one of the best ways to get connected quickly at FAU. There are many choices in selecting a room and building. We have a variety of room arrangements and lifestyle options. The Living Learning Communities in Heritage Park Towers are rapidly becoming the place to be! Glades Park Towers is available to new, first-year students and offers specific programs and academic offerings. We welcome upper-class and graduate students to our newest apartments at Innovation Village, offering the comforts of home with the convenience of campus life.
Living on campus is part of your recipe for success. Studies of college and university students across the country have shown that on-campus living increases the success rate of those students. Satisfaction levels, rates of graduation and grades are better for those students who choose to live on campus. Living in a residence hall provides you with a greater opportunity to become involved within your new home, to meet and develop relationships with a wider variety of people, and to develop life skills that will benefit you long after you leave FAU.
