Glades Park Towers (GPT)
Picture yourself coming home with some friends from a long day of classes and activities. As you enter your residence hall, you are swept into a world of energizing color and friendly faces. Before going up to your room to relax, you stop by the Outtakes convenience store, located in the lobby, to pick up a quick bite to eat.
This will be your experience at Glades Park Towers, our newest residence hall. This hall is specifically designated for students who will be taking college courses for the very first time. All students living in Glades Park Towers participate in the First Year Student Housing (FYSH) Program and take a college success course, SLS 1503, in the Fall semester. Many sections of this class are offered within the building.
Glades Park Towers is a suite-style residence hall consisting of both double and single rooms. Usually, four residents share a bathroom facility. Additionally, Glades Park Towers offers a 24 hour desk operation, floor study lounges, multipurpose room with large screen TV, laundry facilities, conference room, computer lab, classroom and convenience store.
