In addition to presenting content, all workshops should incorporate at least one learning activity that applies the content from the workshop to real life situations and fosters and awareness of:
- Juggling multiple projects and priorities, multi-tasking
- Managing time effectively
- Maintaining objectivity in making decisions
- Demonstrating respect for people who are different from oneself
- Working independently and taking initiative
- Working effectively in a complex organizational system
