About MyFAU
MyFAU is the University’s web portal, web-based tool that provides centralized access to e-mail, calendars, administrative services and classroom tools, and information. With a single username and password you will gain access to all these services and more. In addition nearly every screen of information is fully customizable. You choose what you want to see and where you want to see it, making MyFAU a personalized portal to your unique needs at FAU.
To access MyFAU, use a web browser to go to http://myfau.fau.edu. Log in with your FAUNetID and password.
MyFAU Features
E-mailOnce you have logged into MyFAU through a web browser, you can send and receive e-mail and maintain an address book of. All you need is a web browser and Internet access.CalendarsEach user has a personal calendar which he or she can keep private or share with others. Each academic course also has a calendar to which all the students in the course have read access; the instructor has full access to the calendar. In addition to personal calendars, users can also create additional calendars.GroupsGroups are analogous to an online club or other association of people with a common interest or purpose. Many FAU clubs have formed groups in MyFAU because it makes communication easy. Administrators and committees also use groups as an easy way to communicate and share documents.Customizable Information ChannelsMyFAU contains many channels that contain not only FAU information, but also information from around the world on a wide range of subjects. You can add channels to your MyFAU pages that match your interest and needs.AnnouncementsMyFAU enables the sending of announcements tailored to people's role in the university (faculty, staff, or student) but also by campus, major, and other criteria.Self Service Access
MyFAU has the functionality to log you into the new Self-Service automatically, without your having to know your Z number and PIN. Just click the 'FAU Self-Service link' in the Home tab and MyFAU will send your Z number and PIN behind the scenes and log you in.Help Using MyFAU
