Dr. Marianne Sanua

Dr. Marianne Sanua Dr. Marianne Sanua specializes in Jewish history with an emphasis on the United States. Her publications include Here's to Our Fraternity: One Hundred Years of Zeta Beta Tau, 1898-1998 (University Press of New England, 1998). Her revised dissertation, Going Greek: Jewish College Fraternities in the US, 1895-1945 was published by Wayne State University Press in Spring 2003. Her latest book is Let Us Prove Strong: The American Jewish Committee, 1945-2006 which was written to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the organization. Her articles and book reviews have appeared in American Jewish History, American Jewish Archives, Journal of American Ethnic History, the YIVO Annual, and the Religious Studies Review. Dr. Sanua also did graduate work at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and has studied at the YIVO Institute/Columbia University Uriel Weinreich Summer Program in Yiddish Language, Literature and Culture which is given in New York each year.
