Below are the minimum scores on the ALEKS placement exam required for entry into mathematics courses.

General Advising Advice
If an ALEKS score places you in a class for which you have not had the prerequisite course, please bring your ALEKS score sheet and talk to the instructor on the first day of classes.  The instructor will review the sheet and advise you on the appropriate class for which to register.  For course prerequisite information, look in the University Catalog, found at http://www.fau.edu/registrar/universitycatalog/welcome.php.  Click on the College of Science, then Course Descriptions, and scroll down to the Mathematical Sciences section.

For specific course selection advice, refer to the information that follows on individual colleges/majors.

College of Architecture, Urban and Public Affairs
