Alumni Center and Wellness Center Construction
At the completion of this semester, construction will start on two highly anticipated new buildings on the Boca Raton campus -- the Marleen and Harold Forkas Alumni Center and the Recreation and Wellness Building. During the holiday break on two adjacent sites just north of the Breezeway on the south side of Lee Street, crews will install the necessary fences and other safety requirements to begin construction.
In preparation for this project, 150 parking spaces have been added in this area and construction is currently under way to add another 220 spaces east of the construction site adjacent to Lee Street. The construction projects will displace approximately 170 current parking spaces in lots 6 and 7.
For the convenience of our students, faculty and staff during the construction of the additional 220 spaces, a shuttle will be offered from the far north end of Lot 5 to the south end.
