Police Communications
The communications center is staffed 24 hours a day, every day of the year, to take your call. Communication officers answer emergency and business telephone lines, radio dispatch police officers to calls for service, and monitor fire and intrusion alarms for campus buildings.
Communications has radio contact with the Boca Raton Police Department to assist in coordinating inter-agency calls. FAU Communications is connected with other police departments through the Florida Crime Information Center (FCIC) and the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as well as the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office database.
