The investigators at our department are highly trained and knowledgeable. They handle the more serious crimes like arson, sexual assault, grand theft and computer related crimes. Investigators utilize all of the department's resources and contacts in order to solve these more serious crimes. The patrol officer will be the first responder to a serious crime and, if need be, an investigator will be called out to work the case to improve the solvability.
