The PPRC and the Defense Acquisition University Partnership

In addition to the 1999 partnership agreement with NIGP in 1999, PPRC has recently signed a partnership agreement with the Defense Acquisition University (June 2004). The partnership covers three areas:

• Academic credit for members of the Defense Department who complete rigorous courses developed by the DAU on public procurement topics;
• An executive certificate program in public procurement now being offered through the PPRC in conjunction with the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing; and
• Research opportunities for practitioners that can include publication of articles in the Journal of Public Procurement published by FAU.
