President Mary Jane Saunders and Interim Provost Diane E. Alperin will host the University's 42nd  annual Honors Convocation on Wednesday, April 13, at 4 p.m. in the University Theater on the Boca Raton campus.

The annual ceremony recognizes the University's most outstanding students and faculty. Students to be honored include University Scholars, the Phi Kappa Phi Scholars, the Stan and Renee Wimberly Scholar, the Distinguished Student Award and the Male and Female Academic Athletes of the Year.

The faculty honors include the researchers of the year, excellence in teaching and advising and the keynote speech from the 2010-11 Distinguished Teacher of the Year, Dr. Deborah L. Floyd of the College of Education.
