Adam Dobrin of the SCCJ participated in his second Congressional Briefing. The focus of this briefing was on predicting and preventing homicide and other violence, and it was held at the Rayburn House Office Building, Washington DC, on July 24, 2012. Congressman Robert C. "Bobby" Scott, Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security, co-hosted the briefing with Congressman John Conyers, the Ranking Member of the Committee on the Judiciary. Dr. Dobrin spoke on the effectiveness of health services interventions as tools to reduce and prevent violent injuries.
