Minor in Criminal Justice

A minor in Criminal Justice shall consist of a minimum of 15 credits-hours in upper division criminal justice courses. Included would be the following:

  1. Must take these two course courses, CCJ3014 & CCJ4054 (6 Credit Hours), and
  2. Students with less than 60 credit hours MUST take CCJ2002 and two Upper Division (3/4000 level) Criminal Justice courses. (9 Credit Hours)

Students with more than 60 credit hours must take three upper Division (3/4000 level) Criminal Justice Courses (9 Credit Hours)

In the case of transfer students, a minimum of 12 credits-hours of upper division courses with the CCJ, CJC, CJE, or CJL prefix for a minor must be in residence at FAU including core courses, if lacking.
