Joey Bargsten teaches interactive and time-based media. His work as new media artist and composer includes the interactive web site BAD MIND TIME and the hybrid media opera Anatomy of Melancholy. He has received awards from New Media Magazine and PRINT Magazine, the FLUXUS International Film Festival on the Internet, the Broadcast Design Association, and the Stuttgart Filmwinter Festival for Expanded Media. He is currently documenting his experiences in live media manipulation and digital performance in his forthcoming book Digital Media Voodoo.
