The School also offers walk-in advising every Thursday at the Boca Raton campus. During a walk-in session, we can answer registration questions, assist with forms needing signatures (e.g. drop/add), clarify deadlines and policies, and address general questions about requirements. During walk-in sessions, we cannot perform full degree audits, assist with forms requiring detailed information/research (e.g. Financial Aid Appeals), assist students with less than 30 earned credits; and walk-in appointments cannot be used as first appointments for new students or transfers. A walk-in appointment is meant to provide answers to time-sensitive or "quick" questions. You will be able to spend 10-15 minutes with an advisor, and a follow-up or full appointment may be necessary. Walk-in hours may be shortened due to high volume, and you will need to allow for wait time; the duration/delay will depend on the number of students seeking advising, and sessions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

UNDERGRADUATE ADVISING
Gina Joseph is the Academic Advisor for the School of Communication and Multimedia Studies. Her office is located in CU 208 on the Boca Raton campus. Ms. Joseph is available to advise you on the requirements for the major as well as University and College requirements; she will also register you for "permission by department" classes for which you are qualified.
