Susan Willey has more than fifteen years experience as a working journalist, winning numerous awards for spot news reporting, investigative reporting, and column writing. Her research and teaching interests center on journalism and religion news, news media ethics, and journalism’s relationship to democracy. Recent publications include the essay “Focus Groups Newsroom Style,” published in the journal Qualitative Research in Journalism.
