Dr. Alex has 27 years experience as a dentist, serving for 15 years at the FAU Student Health Services Dental Clinic. She graduated from Medical and Pharmacology University School of Dental Medicine in Bucharest, Romania in 1983. After receiving her Board certification, Dr. Alex was in private practice in Palm Beach County before joining Student Health Services. Currently, she is member of National Dental Practitioner.

Linda Carney is originally from the Midwest, where she earned a Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Iowa. After moving to Florida, she attended the University of Florida for an Expanded Duties Course in Curettage and Root Planing. She has been licensed to practice Dental Hygiene in Iowa, Colorado and Florida. Linda worked in private practice for many years before coming to FAU. She has been at FAU for over 20 years.

Dental Hygienist Daniela Yanez is a native of Ecuador, South America. She moved to Florida over 10 years ago. Daniela has over 4 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist and has been working at FAU Student Health Services for over 3 years. She received her Associate in Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Palm Beach State College in 2006 and is currently seeking a degree in Biology at Florida Atlantic University.  Daniela's goal is to become a dentist in the future.
