Insurance
Students are strongly encouraged to have health insurance coverage. If you are not covered by your family health insurance plan and you want coverage, FAU sponsors an accident and sickness policy for domestic and international students. The insurance plan must be purchased during the first 30 days of each semester.  Enrollment for the Annual/Fall plan has closed.  For more information see our Insurance information or see the insurance representative in the International Students Office (Boca campus, SU80, Room 214) on Thursdays between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Student Health Advisory Council
The Student Health Advisory Council works cooperatively with Student Health Services to ensure quality health care at Student Health and serves as a liaison between the student body and Health Services.
Students from all Colleges or Departments who are interested in promoting the health and well-being of all FAU students should call Cathie Wallace, Director, at (561) 297-3516 for further information about the work of this ongoing Council.
