Thank you for visiting the FAU Student Health Services (SHS) web site.  As its mission, SHS seeks to provide healthcare, prevention, education, outreach and public health services to a diverse student population in a safe, caring and supportive environment.  SHS is a department within the Division of Student Affairs and our team of dedicated professionals promotes university-wide wellness, encouraging healthy lifestyles and personal responsibility to enhance students' capacity for reaching academic and personal goals, thereby enhancing their overall leaning experiences.

Remember, Student Health Services is funded exclusively by you, the student - it is YOUR health program. The health fee you pay every semester, which is included in your tuition, subsidizes the cost of services.  However, there are nominal charges for office visits, lab tests, treatments and procedures....a real bargain compared to charges at local clinics and hospitals. Registered FAU students may utilize our variety of health services regardless of health insurance coverage.
