Student Health Services (SHS) is ready to provide health care for our veterans returning from the armed services. We understand the transition to student life may be challenging, but also rewarding. Here are some of the services we provide for registered students that will assist you to stay healthy and make good lifestyle choices while a student:
Seals Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan
Every student is encouraged to have health insurance coverage. If not covered by an individual or parental policy, FAU students meeting eligibility requirements may purchase a sickness and injury insurance plan sponsored by the University. For more specific information regarding the current insurance plan, please contact Insurance For Students, Inc., at 800-356-1235 or check their website.
Tips For Veterans:
- Visit our Immunization Office early so your immunization hold can be cleared prior to registering for classes. To get started, download the FAU Immunization Form.
- Call 561-297-2276 for quick answers to your initial questions about health services or to make a clinic appointment for all three campus clinics.
