Leadership Reading Circles
What are leadership reading circles? Leadership reading circles are small groups of students who gather to read and discuss a book that is applicable to leadership development. A faculty member facilitates discussion amongst the group based on assigned readings for the session. Typically, reading circles meet 5-6 times over the course of a semester, and include discussion on issues in leadership, ethics, current events, and other relevant topics. Mission
The Leadership Committee's goal is for students to take their skills into the community as evolved leaders. They will continue to reflect, integrate, and expand on what they have learned to improve the worldwide community in which we all live.
We are committed to providing an atmosphere that fosters learning, personal growth, and exploration of individual and group leadership skills. These skills include the understanding and celebration of diversity which thereby enables their learning to take place. These ideals are consistent to that of the university's mission.
